Casey-Bertram removed an existing "X" wing that the hospital was no longer using for service. Casey-Bertram started out by stripping the interior of the concrete structure with skid steers and hand laborers. After removing most of the trash, excavators were brought in to demolish the structure to the ground. Once the building was on the ground, Casey-Bertram processed the material and made it ready to be crushed and used as backfill for the basements. Bulldog Crushing helped by crushing the processed concrete on site directly into the basement hole. After backfilling, Casey-Bertram seeded and strawed the area to leave the hospital with a nice green space for patients.
